Integrated sensors

Morgan Electro Ceramics’ piezo ultrasonic sensors can be combined with optical, temperature, pressure and / or other sensors to provide OEMs with a complete multi-functional integrated sensor package from a single-source.

For example, the air-in-line sensor can be combined with optical sensors to detect the presence of the pipe or that the housing is correctly closed, for fail-safe operation.

Or a temperature sensor can be incorporated into a piezo ultrasonic sensor to provide built-in temperature compensation, for more accurate measurement in variable environmental conditions.

By combining multiple sensors in a single package in this way, OEMs can reduce the number of components in their product, and simplify the supply chain for more cost effective manufacture and faster time-to-market.
